Application

This high-strength alloy, due to its special manufacturing process, exhibits superior mechanical properties compared to standard commercial nickel-aluminum bronzes. BM 630 is recommended for heavy-duty applications with high mechanical loads, even in corrosive environments.

It has anti-sparking properties, making it ideal for the production of safety tools and machine components in explosive environments. It meets ASTM B150 and AMS 4640 (aerospace) standards.

Applications include bearings, aircraft bushings, pumps and shafts for marine vessels, marine propellers, wear rings, roller bearings, gears, machine and tool parts, and components for the tube bending industry.

Manufacturing Process: Extrusion / Forging.
