Application

BM 1751HT is a copper alloy containing 0.5% beryllium and conforming to RWMA Class 3 specifications. Its high strength and extremely high conductivity make it suitable for use in resistance welding equipment and tooling for plastic injection molds. It is widely used in the electrical/electronic equipment industry due to its good deformability, elasticity, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance. It exhibits excellent spring properties and is suitable for miniaturization. The alloy can be obtained in the form of strips and with appropriate heat treatments for each application.

Examples of applications include welding electrodes, electrode holders, and welding discs, injection pistons, plastic mold parts, connector parts, terminals, and electrical switches.
