Application

This high-strength alloy, due to its special manufacturing process, exhibits superior mechanical properties compared to standard commercial nickel-aluminum bronzes. It was developed to meet the demands of the aeronautical industry and is recommended for applications requiring high mechanical properties, elevated temperatures, and excellent corrosion resistance. It complies with AMS 4590 (aerospace) specifications.

Applications include landing gear bearings, bushings for heavy loads, rolls and dies for tube forming, mold parts for the plastic and glass industry, and tools for tube bending with high wear resistance.
