Application

This alloy exhibits good hardness and wear resistance due to its high aluminum and iron content in its chemical composition, as well as the appropriate metallurgical control for a uniform distribution of the gamma 2 phase.

It is used in guide bushes, wear plates that can effectively replace tempered steel when there is no impact force. It is also utilized for wear rings in stamping dies, inserts, forming rolls, bending and rolling operations, especially when processing stainless steel. It is suitable for applications such as grinding rulers.

It provides an alternative to graphite bronze, as it can work dry.

Manufacturing Process: Extruded/Forged.
