The Copper nickel beryllium alloy, BM 1751HT, offers a combination of mechanical and electrical properties that is unique to copper alloys. The mechanical strength achieved after heat treatment is the highest among all copper alloy materials and is combined with an electrical conductivity that surpasses that of bronzes (CuNi2Be).

 

Applications

For spot welding and seam welding of high-strength alloys such as stainless steel. Other uses include instant welding dies, support bars, and projection welding electrodes.
