Application

This alloy exhibits exceptional mechanical properties combined with excellent hardness and compression strength. It has good frictional properties, making it ideal for forming and rolling products, eliminating possible deformations, warping, burr adhesion, and weld spatter. It is widely used in deep drawing applications and in all applications that require a smooth finish without scratches, traces, or stains on stainless steel and carbon.

 

Due to the zero elongation of this material, very thin sections should be avoided, and proper support is necessary.

 

It is used in dies, sheet metal press tools, punch punches, forming rolls, tube welding discs, among other applications.

 

Manufacturing Process: Extruded / Forged.
